    Tom Brown
     
     Tom Brown is a chartered Engineer and an Associate Director for 
	CH2M HILL 
	(Formerly Halcrow), based in Teesside. Over the last 25 years he has 
	worked for local authorities, contractors and now for a consultant. 
	Early in his career, he worked in the highways sector, then energy 
	exploration but moved in to flood and coastal risk management, specialising 
	in engineering appraisals (particularly the economics), design and construction. 
	Tom currently manages a major client account for CH2M HILL and is currently 
	CH2M HILL’s Project Director for the Morpeth Flood Alleviation scheme 
	currently being built by Balfour Beatty (Birse). He is also
	Chair of ICE North East Flood Experts Panel.
