Steve Caseley
Steve Caseley is Director of Distributed Energy with
New and Renewable Energy Centre
(Narec),
a national centre for the UK dedicated to accelerating the
deployment and grid integration of renewable energy and
low carbon generation technologies, utilising wind, wave,
tidal, solar PV and thermal power.
Steve has operated
at senior levels for a number of Plc businesses.
After serving an Engineering Apprenticeship with Dunlop
he joined German-based business Drager, first
designing breathing apparatus, and then moving into
international marketing where over a period of 10 years
he developed the Company’s sales infrastructure. Steve
has worked for Domnick Hunter Plc. as Business Unit Manager
for gas generation
systems, for Sage Plc helping develop their
E-Commerce business, for Australian group
Pacifica Plc as Business Unit Director and
for eaga Plc as Executive Director for their renewable energy business.
His current position at Narec draws on his years of renewable energy experience
to position Narec as a National and International player
within this rapidly developing market.
Steve Caseley was on the panel of The Future of Energy debate
in March 2010.
