He has more than 15 years experience in Nuclear Medicine Physics. He is a member of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine Nuclear Medicine Software Quality Group (2006-present), and is organising a national audit of gated myocardial perfusion SPECT. He is the external supervisor to a PhD student in the University of Bristol Department of Computer Science, with Professor Mirmehdi, studying 4D-image segmentation in myocardial perfusion imaging, and is an external lecturer at the University of the West of England. He is currently starting a collaboration with Professor Hutton at the Medical Physics Research Group at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine, UCLH, on image segmentation in oncology SPECT/CT.
